I wish the standard members had the right to check the quicknote history.
I wish we had the right to download the voicemails.
I wish there was a new list of features for standard members.
Firstly, those things are all *privileges* as is coming on this sight at all.
Secondly, because you just removed some of the most compelling reasons to go premium, what would you replace for them?
Yes, i'd really like qn history, but I know this is a pay for use feature, i'm not likely to pay for at the moment.

I have to disagree with the first point. Without us coming on here the site would be pointless. Its only because we come on here that the site is still up. If we didn't, the site would have ceased to exist long ago.
As for point two, I agree to an extent. Though I think the invisible feature is probably the biggest reason for people buying premium. I will say though that the quick note history could be argued to be necessary for a site like this. I don't think it should be something you have to pay for.
To answer your question though, I would replace them with a few things. The option to add your site to the list of advertisements at the top of the page. An IPhone/droid app for the zone. The journal feature. The chance to add music to your profile so people could hear a sample of your favorite bands. Those sort of things.
Right now I think that the premium features are nowher near worth paying for. At least not for the price. If the site were updated more often, and I felt like some of these ideas were taken seriously, then I might be willing to pay for one just to donate to the site, but I don't, so I haven't.
Agreed. While I don't believe in progress for progress's sake, necessarily, the site hasn't been updated in any significant way in so long, and the premium features are so uninspiring, that I don't really think it's worth paying for as it stands right now. I'm on the fence about standard members receiving more features, though.
I don't think the standard members need all of the features listed in the first post, but I do think the history would be good. Or at least a history of private quick notes. Sometimes you lose track.
another thing I think should be added as an option for all members, is the ability to choose whether they wanna upload a picture to the site, for those who can/wanna view what a person looks like.

I agree with that. let people upload one or two high quality pictures if they care to.

I was thinking a bit short sightedly about the quick notes thing though.
while maybe limiting quick note search to premiums would be nice, it would be cool if you could type something like "/last 10 and get a printout of the last 10 PQN's you have been sent. maybe limit it to the last 2 or so hours, and only print up to 10.
That's a good idea. I can't count the times I refreshed too quickly and missed a quicknote.
i'm thinking why bother replying since nothing will be done anyway but i'm bored and nobody's around to talk to anyway, so here goes.
i agree with the quicknote history bu but much more limited. private QN's i'd think would be most important, and only the last say 10 sent or received. i disagree about the two hours limit though as what if i've logged off 4 hours ago?
if i had to pick, i'd rather it be thrunk down to 5 r rather than a 2 hour time limit.
like others have said, i dont find the premium membership worth paying for, especially since it is so heavy on the games which i dont play often.
i'm perfectly willing to donate to get extra features. hell even if i didnt' use all of them, i'd still be willing to pay. its not that much money a year. however, the admins do nothing to fix what is broken let alone add new features. i cant say if they look at the board here. ok, so i dont use the extra games and would use a few of the other features, but why bother if no further development is put into the site? to offset bandwidth? is that even a factor?
one suggestion that might be cool for premium memvers is a vidio profile. space is cheaper these days. perhaps 60 second audio for standard, with more time for premium and a vidio option?
in short, if i did by a premium membership, what exactly is my money going tward? its sure not new features, and its sure not new features for premium's. i hope i'm not comeing off as greedie as this isn't my intent. i also know the admins have lives too. i also dont have any idea what goes into development for a site like this. i dont know what went into it, or the time that is required to fix things and add features. i'm just speaking my opinion, bassed on nothing being done in years.
I agree on the pics thing. It'd be nice for us to have audio on some other sites, so why not pics for sighted people on this one? Makes a ton of sense.
I think one still pic is a reasonable option for the basic profile, with video, maybe, as a paid feature. How about being allowed to pay a yearly fee per-feature? E. G. $5/yr for 5-minute video only. That way, you pay only for what you use. Quicknote history takes no extra resources per-user, and should just be part of the standard package. That
